2010 in review (i.e. useless numbers)

Been meaning to do something like this.  But it has fancy graphs and stuff so I’ll post this for now. -tb

In 2010, there were 103 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 111 posts. There were 24 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 14mb. That’s about 2 pictures per month.

The busiest day of the year was August 12th with 64 views. The most popular post that day was Touhou/Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets – Morning Star Rocket.  (This is more then likely traffic pulled in from people looking for HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD-tb)

Where did they come from?

The top referring sites in 2010 were pancakelanding.com, en.wordpress.com, twitter.com, icaruscomics.com, and anime.unm.edu. (pancakelanding I know them IRL, I publicize through twitter, Icarus comics linked to my post about CMX, and that’s the UNM Anime Club’s URL-tb)

Some visitors came searching, mostly for kishida kyoudan, kishida kyoudan & the akeboshi rockets, oikawa urada, urada oikawa, and mutsumi sendou. (HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD and Seikon no Qwaser-tb)

Wallpaper of the Month: December 10′

Sorry for this being a little late.  Computer hasn’t been properly fixed and I’ve been playing my PSP every minute I can, but I finally found my OS disc and Office so I should be able to return to form soon.

With 1818 images in my Wallpaper fold, if I want one with snow, I can find one with snow;)

Computer Problems (Again)

So coming back from dog/cat/house sitting this week I kind of jarred my desktop while moving it, popping one of the CPU fan locks out.  This cased the computer to loose power after a few seconds to a few minutes after hitting the power button… perticaly during Window XP’s boot/load sequence which kind of go messed up.  I can boot into safe mode just fine but with out my install disk I can’t do anything with my computer right now (again) or at least anything useful and internet wise.  Thus going to be borrowing pancakelanding laptop for the time being.

FEAR THE CHIBI TACHIKOMA!!!

Seeing as my computer was dead for a week and I was too lazy to place a wallpaper up on my desktop for the past couple of weeks I’ll post some of my past favorites before I had started writing (while I transfer the folder back to my primary hard drive)

Primary Hard Drive Failure

Just to give everyone a heads up, I’ve suffered a hard drive failure. This mainly effects my music collection and personal documents. I was working on a season guide but I may delay it a bit since I may have lost my notes. Anyways, I’ve ordered a new hard drive and should be back in business by next week.

UPDATE 08/04/10

Got the new hard drive and got my computer working again and I’ve been able to recover all the stuff I thought I had lost including my notes for anime.  One problem, I’m dog sitting this week but I haven’t been able to connect to the wireless network up here and have to connect via network cable.  so I’m going to be quite for a little bit longer.  Hopefully I’ll start writing for the season guide while I’m here, but don’t expect anything till maybe this time next week.
