Sorry for the delay, kind of forgot about it, had a few other things to think about.
Just peachy, first VIZ lays off 40% of there work force and now DC is shutting down there CMX manga imprint. I wasn’t interested in the majority of titles they had but they did have a few gems I really liked. Might as well take a look shall we. (Wait a sec, is this going to be about the second time I’ve actually talked about manga?)

Apocalypse Meow Manga’s 1st Anime Episode Set for August
As a fan of the original manga I’ve been dieing to see this made into an animation (anime or other wise). After the winter and spring seasons rolled by without an announcement I kind of forgot about it… until today when ANN posted about the artical. Now we just have to see if they get all 12 episodes done. Also, if I only had the money to get the third volume of Cat Shit One ’80 that came out a month or so ago off of Amazon.jp.

A few weeks ago I unfortunately found out that TokyoPop had canceled volume 3 of Harukaze Bitter Pop and volume 4 of the Scrapped Princes novels. It’s really a shame, I was really looking forward to both releases but sales for novels tend to be low I suspect and the visibility of Harukaze Bitter Pop not that great. Harukaze had a fun and interesting story that was half way off the wall and the art was pretty solid. But with market saturation as is it just didn’t do well I guess and goes under manga people should have read. So for me I guess I’m going to have to remember to order the four volumes the next time I do a Amazon.jp order.
So long posts take me forever to do, right now I’m working on a bit of a review/first impression type thing for a manga I recently got called Ooka: The Inner Chambers. Unfortunately I hate writing at length so it’s going to take a while but in the mean time I would like to do little snipets of other manga I’m reading right now (oh near past anyway) starting with the manga for Tsukihime.
